Future Pro Goaltending DVD Ad

Last night we launched our Future Pro Goalie School Videos by Steve McKichan Giveaway. Check out the article for more information on how you can get involved.

The comments are rolling in and we have added a scoreboard on the front of the site so we can see the top commenters and where people stand in the competition. This count is unofficial – remember to count you must add something of value in a comment. “Nice article” won’t cut it – we want an opinion, share an experience, or add something that is missing.

Steve McKichan who created the videos and has offered to give a set away is an avid reader of inGoal Magazine and sent me a few notes today when he saw that we had posted the offer last night.

If you are too excited to wait for contest results – you can order them now at this link.

We’ll also be posting sample videos over the next several days – so stay tuned for more great stuff from Steve and inGoal Magazine.

I have Steve’s first set of videos. After having seen them quite a few times, I look to recap a few chapters of the DVD from basic skills and also review some of the topics or situations I want to improve on from a recent game … on game day. I find it helps with my mindset and helps put some good images in my subconcious. So what is Steve doing these days? Seems obvious he’s not helping Toskala! ;-)

Mr.McKican has me buying lotto tickets these days… in hopes I win the big one so I can hire him on as my daughters fulltime goalie coach. I am sure his dream is to coach my 10 year old daughter to her dream of Olympic gold. In the few times my daughter has had the opportunity to work with Steve we have seen an enormous improvement on focus and confidence. Steve has the ability of talking straight to young goalies without talking down to them. Tiffany’s (my daughter) biggest complaint is when coaches tell her what they think she wants to hear rather then telling her like it is. When she plays poorly she doesn’t want to hear great game — but good constructive advice for next time.

  3. James says:

This would be great for me as I am the goalie coach for my son’s Mite team this year and I’d love to have ideas on how to enhance the development of my two young keepers.
