In this Episode of the InGoal Radio Podcast presented by The Hockey Shop Source for Sports, we sit down with three-time Stanley Cup champion Andy Moog.

He won his cups with the legendary Oiler’s teams of the 80s, took the Bruins to the Finals and shared a Jennings in Boston as well. In between he…well, see for yourself how he was forced to suit up for the 1988 Calgary Olympics. We’ve known that Andy was that guy who wore the iTech bubble but it was still incredible to hear it from Moog himself exactly what made it happen.

Moog was a fascinating person to chat with about the modern game, his approach to coaching goaltenders at the Okanagan Hockey Academy and with the WHL Portland Winterhawks and how many of the assets he brought to his own style of goaltending are becoming increasingly important today.

This episode is released the day before Brian’s new Optik 2 is released at retail. Cam and Woody look at the features and changes in the new gear. Once you’ve had a listen, head over to our review of the Optik 2 – we’ve been testing it for several weeks now and as you might expect, we were impressed.
