Pro-Gear: How Mackenzie Blackwood ended up in Jhonas Enrothβs glove
Mackenzie Blackwood has been in the NHL for roughly a season and a half, but heβs only worn a glove with his own name stitched into the cuff for less than four months of that time.
The New Jersey Devils rookie spent most of his first season in the NHL wearing a CCM glove that belonged to playing partner Cory Schneider, and then started this season wearing a blue-trimmed CCM glove made for Jhonas Enroth, who hasnβt played in the NHL in three years, in games and another non-matching glove made for Sergei Bobrovsky in practice.
