Abbey Levy
Abbey Levy grew up in Congers, New York, and spent two seasons at Minnesota State Mankato before transferring to Boston College, where she appeared in 56 games and recorded eight shutouts across those initial collegiate years. At Boston College, she served as Alternate Captain during the 2022-23 season and posted a .947 save percentage that season — a single-season program record and second-best mark nationally among Division I goaltenders. She was a two-time semifinalist for the NCAA's National Goaltender of the Year Award, earning that recognition in both the 2021-22 and 2022-23 seasons. She also won the Bertagna Trophy as the top goaltender at the 2021-22 Beanpot Tournament and was named a Hockey East Second Team All-Star for 2022-23.
Her path to the professional level included three USA Hockey Youth National Championships with Shattuck-St. Mary's. In 2023, she claimed a gold medal with Team USA at the IIHF Women's World Championship.
New York selected Levy in the eleventh round, 64th overall, in the 2023 PWHL Draft.
