Abbey Levy
Abbey Levy grew up in Congers, New York, and took a path through two Division I programs before reaching professional hockey. She spent her first two college seasons at Minnesota State Mankato (2018–20), appearing in 56 games and recording eight shutouts, before transferring to Boston College.
At Boston College, Levy posted a .947 save percentage in the 2022–23 season — a single-season program record that ranked second nationally among Division I goaltenders. She was a two-time semifinalist for the NCAA's National Goaltender of the Year Award, earning the recognition in both her senior and graduate seasons (2021–22 and 2022–23). In the 2021–22 Beanpot Tournament, she received the Bertagna Trophy as the tournament's top goaltender, and she was named a Hockey East Second Team All-Star the following season. She also served as Alternate Captain for Boston College during her final year with the program.
On the international stage, Levy was part of the Team USA roster that won gold at the 2023 IIHF Women's World Championship. Her early hockey development included three USA Hockey Youth National Championships with Shattuck-St. Mary's.
New York selected Levy in the eleventh round (64th overall) of the 2023 PWHL Draft. She earned her first PWHL start against Toronto on January 5, 2024, and her first PWHL win came against Montréal on February 21, 2024. During her second season with the Sirens, she appeared in two games — against Minnesota on December 22, 2024, and against Montréal on May 3, 2025 — recording 33 saves across 76:52 of playing time.
