Brian Eklund

Brian Eklund, a left-catching goaltender from Braintree, Massachusetts, appeared in one NHL game during the 2005–06 season with the Tampa Bay Lightning, the lone appearance of his professional career at that level. Standing 6'4" and weighing 211 pounds, Eklund was selected by Tampa Bay in the seventh round of the 2000 NHL Draft, 29th pick of that round. He finished that single NHL outing with a 3.09 goals-against average and a .842 save percentage, recording a loss with no overtime decisions and no shutouts.

Following his playing career, Eklund established the Massachusetts Crease Goaltending School and took on a role as assistant and goalie coach with the Brown Bears men's ice hockey program.
