Elaine Chuli
Elaine Chuli grew up in Waterford, Ontario, and spent four seasons between 2012 and 2016 playing college hockey at the University of Connecticut, where she set program records for most saves in a single season and over the course of a career. She also holds the all-time saves record for the Hockey East (WHEA) conference. During her time with the Huskies, she earned WHEA Honorable Mention All-Star recognition in 2013–14 and recorded a career-best 55 saves in a single game.
Before her college career began, Chuli represented Canada internationally, winning gold at the 2012 IIHF U18 Women's World Championship.
After leaving UConn, Chuli moved through several professional organizations. She played with the Vanke Rays in the CWHL in 2017–18, followed by a season with the Toronto Furies in 2018–19, and then competed with the PWHPA in 2019–20. She joined the Toronto Six for the 2020–21 season and remained with the organization through 2023. In the 2021–22 season she was named PHF Goaltender of the Year, and in 2023 she won the Isobel Cup with Toronto. When the PWHL launched, Chuli joined the Toronto Sceptres, where she wears number 29.
