Elaine Chuli
Elaine Chuli grew up in Waterford, Ontario, and built her foundation between the pipes over four seasons at the University of Connecticut from 2012 to 2016. During her time with the Huskies, she set program records for most saves in both a single season and a career, and also holds the all-time saves record for the Hockey East (WHEA) conference. In 2013-14 she earned WHEA Honorable Mention All-Star recognition and recorded a career-best 55 saves in a single game.
Before leaving college, Chuli represented Canada internationally, winning gold at the 2012 IIHF U18 Women's World Championship.
Her professional career began with the Vanke Rays in the CWHL in 2017-18, followed by a season with the Toronto Furies in 2018-19. She skated with the PWHPA in 2019-20 before joining the Toronto Six, where she spent three seasons. In 2021-22 she was named PHF Goaltender of the Year, and in 2023 she won the Isobel Cup with Toronto. She now wears number 29 for the Toronto Sceptres in the PWHL.
