Elaine Chuli
Elaine Chuli grew up in Waterford, Ontario, and built her foundation in the sport across four seasons at the University of Connecticut from 2012 to 2016. During her time with the Huskies, she set program records for most saves in a single season and over a career, and earned Women's Hockey East Association Honorable Mention All-Star recognition in 2013-14. One of the individual marks she established at UConn was a career-best 55 saves in a single game.
Before her collegiate career ended, Chuli represented Canada internationally, winning gold at the 2012 IIHF U18 Women's World Championship. She went on to compete professionally with the Vanke Rays in the CWHL in 2017-18, the Toronto Furies in the CWHL in 2018-19, and with the PWHPA in 2019-20, before joining the Toronto Six of the Premier Hockey Federation.
With the Six, Chuli was named PHF Goaltender of the Year for the 2021-22 season and went on to win the Isobel Cup with the club in 2023. She now plays for the Toronto Sceptres in the Professional Women's Hockey League, wearing number 29.
