Gabriel D'Aigle
Gabriel D'Aigle is a Canadian goaltender from Sorel-Tracy, Quebec, drafted 84th overall by the Pittsburgh Penguins in the 2025 NHL Entry Draft. The 6-foot-4, 211-pound left-catching netminder developed his game with the Victoriaville Tigres of the QMJHL under long-time coach Marco Raimondo, and trained alongside hometown hero Marc-Andre Fleury during his amateur years in Quebec.
A bounce-back season with the Tigres put D'Aigle firmly on NHL radars, and the Penguins moved early β signing him to a three-year, entry-level contract in March 2026. He has continued his development under Penguins development coach Karel Popper, and made his ECHL debut with the Wheeling Nailers on a tryout contract during the 2025-26 season.
At 6'4" with elite reflexes and lateral quickness, D'Aigle profiles as a high-upside, long-term goaltending project with the physical tools NHL teams covet at the position.
