Bio updated:

Kayle Osborne grew up in Westport, Ontario — a small village in eastern Ontario — and built one of the more decorated goaltending careers in recent Colgate University history before joining professional hockey. Born on February 28, 2002, she wears number 82 for the New York Sirens of the PWHL.

Her freshman year at Colgate set the tone early. In 2020–21, Osborne earned ECAC Hockey Rookie of the Year honors, was named the Colgate Raiders Hockey Rookie of the Year, and became a finalist for the NCAA Women's Hockey Goalie of the Year award — a combination of recognition that signaled an immediate impact in the ECAC.

By her senior season, Osborne had developed into one of the conference's most decorated goaltenders. She posted a 20–4–1 record, a 1.28 goals-against average, a .941 save percentage, and six shutouts across 26 games. Those numbers helped carry the Colgate Raiders to the 2024 NCAA Frozen Four, and Osborne was named ECAC Tournament MVP. She also earned ECAC Hockey Goaltender of the Week recognition six times during that same season. Between her freshman and senior years, the Canadian national program took notice: she was selected to Team Canada's National Women's Team Selection Camp roster for the 2022–23 Summer Showcase.

InGoal Magazine has covered Kayle Osborne in one podcast appearance. She appeared on episode 332 of InGoal Radio [1], where the conversation touched on her path to the PWHL New York Sirens.
