Kayle Osborne

Kayle Osborne arrived at Colgate University from Westport, Ontario — a small town in eastern Ontario — and by the time she left, she had built one of the more complete résumés in recent NCAA women's hockey history. In her first season with the Raiders, Osborne earned ECAC Hockey Rookie of the Year honors, was named Colgate Raiders Hockey Rookie of the Year, and was a finalist for the NCAA Women's Hockey Goalie of the Year award. That 2020–21 campaign announced her presence in the college game from the opening months.

The recognition continued across her career. Osborne was named ECAC Hockey Goaltender of the Week six times during the 2023–24 season alone, and capped her senior year by earning ECAC Tournament MVP honors. Her numbers that season told the story plainly: a 20–4–1 record, a 1.28 goals-against average, a .941 save percentage, and six shutouts across 26 games. The Raiders advanced to the 2024 NCAA Frozen Four, with Osborne in net throughout that postseason run.

Her play drew attention on the national stage as well. She was selected to Team Canada's National Women's Team Selection Camp roster for the 2022–23 Summer Showcase.

Osborne joined the PWHL's New York Sirens, wearing number 82. The Wikipedia listing for her notes an association with PWHL Hamilton, reflecting the league's evolving franchise structure. She catches left and stands 5'8".
