James Reimer is back for a second Pro Reads in Carolina Hurricanes colors and his second straight video session against the defending Stanley Cup-champion Tampa Bay Lightning.
Reimer said in his last breakdown of a backhand chance for Brayden Point that part of playing the talented Lightning is knowing who is on the ice at all times, but sometimes it’s more about reading the play than the skilled players making it. That seemed to be the case on this quick developing play below the goal line. Reimer made his read on this play before the puck even gets to Lightning forward Yanni Gorde down low, so what do you see here:
