Hockey Canada Goaltenders Panel

by | 0 comments

The biggest benefit of InGoal Magazine being asked to moderate some panels at the 2021 Virtual Goaltending Coach Certification Seminar put on by Hockey Canada this summer was the fact it allowed us to share those presentations with our Premium Members.

We kicked things off with the Keynote Q+A featuring Roberto Luongo, an hour-long discussion of all things goaltending with the two-time Olympic gold medal winner and future Hall of Fame goalie. Then we shared a can’t miss, hour-long coaches panel that was loaded with insights from Dustin Schwartz, goalie coach for the Edmonton Oilers, Dan Stewart, who is coming off his first full season as the St. Louis Blues development goaltending coach, Joe Johnston, who has coached goalies with the National Women’s Teams and at Dalhousie University, and Andre Tourigny, who shortly after this session was named head coach of the Arizona Coyotes.

Our last video from the 2021 Virtual Goaltending Coach Certification Seminar is also a can’t miss roundtable session loaded with insights sure to benefit goalie, goalie parent and goalie coaches alike as Team Canada alumni Devon Levi, Joel Hofer, Emerance Maschmeyer and Sami Jo Small share their experiences and insights into the position we all love:

We hope you enjoyed the series. Thank you to Hockey Canada for allowing InGoal to be part of a great week of goalie talk, and for allowing us to share it here with Premium Members.
