InGoal Radio Episode 157 with Buffalo Sabres Goalie Development Coach Seamus Kotyk

In the feature interviews, presented by Sense Arena, Kotyk provides a glimpse into a multi-dimensional role with the Sabres that includes everything from coaching the goalies playing for their American Hockey League affiliate, the Rochester Americans, to checking in on prospects in the lower levels, including some still unsigned and playing in college or junior, as well as scouting duties. Kotyk also shares some great insights into his path to the NHL, from his playing days in junior, minor pro and Europe, to working as a goalie coach and assistant coach in the Ontario Hockey League before getting the job in Buffalo. Add in some laughs over a unique between-periods ritual from his playing days, and this is another can’t miss interview loaded with great advice for both aspiring young goalies wondering what a scout is looking for, and coaches hoping to follow his path.
