Need one word to describe Roberto Luongo’s Hall of Fame career? Consistency.

The truth is one word does a disservice to Luongo’s body of work in both the NHL and on the international stage, so why don’t we try using two: Consistent excellence.

“Being consistent is one thing but you have to be good also because you aren’t getting the No.1 job done if you are just consistent,” Martin Brodeur once told InGoal Magazine.

Consistent excellence it is.

As Luongo prepares to accept his induction into the Hockey Hall of Fame in a ceremony on Monday, there will be a lot of statistics from his 19-season career to back up that claim.
