InGoal Radio Podcast presented by The Hockey Shop Source for Sports
Episode 127 of the InGoal Radio Podcast, presented by The Hockey Shop Source for Sports, features new Columbus Blue Jackets goaltending development coach Brad Thiessen.
In the feature interview, presented by Sense Arena, we hear how Thiessen took the job just a few weeks after announcing his retirement from a 12-season pro career, but the 35-year-old had already been working as a player-coach (think Reg Dunlop with goalie pads) for the Cleveland Monsters, the Blue Jackets’ American Hockey League affiliate, for a couple of seasons. It’s a unique route to coaching, one that started with numerous great examples from big-name goalie coaches that guided his own path through pro hockey, and Thiessen shares several stories and lessons from all sides of that journey.
All that plus another trip to The Hockey Shop (where Thiessen remembers buying his first set of goalie gear) to talk about the new Warrior Ritual V2 stick line — and huge savings on remaining inventory (and they’ve got lots) of the Ritual V1 line that it replaces.
