Marlène Boissonnault grew up in Dundee, New Brunswick — a small community that sits at the edge of the Saint John River valley — and went on to reach professional hockey's highest women's level, wearing number 1 for the Minnesota Frost of the PWHL. Born on June 19, 1997, the left-catching goaltender is one of the few players in the league who traces her hockey roots to rural New Brunswick.
