Nicole Hensley
Nicole Hensley grew up in Lakewood, Colorado, and went on to become a two-time Olympic team member for the United States, earning gold at the 2018 Winter Games and silver at the 2022 Games. She has also appeared in six IIHF Women's World Championships with the U.S. Women's National Team, collecting gold medals in 2016, 2017, and 2023, and silver medals in 2021, 2022, and 2024.
Before her international career took shape, Hensley built an extensive collegiate record at Lindenwood University. She left the program as its all-time leader in saves, wins, save percentage, minutes played, and shutouts, and earned four All-CHA selections along the way. Her academic record at Lindenwood was equally distinguished, earning three CoSIDA Academic All-America honors, four CHA Student Athlete of the Year awards, and four selections to the CHA All-Academic team. She was also named CHA Goalie of the Week nine times during her college career.
Away from the rink, Hensley was recognized three times as Colorado Sportswoman of the Year between 2013 and 2015, and was inducted into the Colorado Sportswomen of the Year Hall of Fame in 2015. She currently plays for the Minnesota Frost in the PWHL and wears number 29.
