Hockey Alberta has developed a Provincial Goaltender Plan setting a goal to work with and develop the top coaches and goaltenders in Alberta. Our programs ensure we offer development unseen anywhere else for goaltenders to be pushed to the next level.
All goaltenders should be provided with elite coaching and development. Join us in 2025 as we continue to serve our network of goalies, teams, coaches, and partners that will bring our philosophy, experience, and expertise to our goaltending family.
We offer mentorship to both male and female goalies throughout the year at all levels of play by hosting National and Regional camps as well as specialty clinics, personal consultation, association partnerships, and more.
Our programs are built for both local and out-of-town clientele. Chicagoans will enjoy the convenience of professional training in their back yards. Meanwhile our vast network of coaches and students can easily travel into one of the world’s best hockey cities for development. Join us for a week long camp, or custom create a trip full of private lessons, one day clinics, workouts, and even elite player skills group sessions we attend. And don’t forget to take in the “Windy City”!
The Goalie Training Institute offers the most comprehensive goaltender development programs available. Programs are designed to maximize skill development and allow goaltenders the best opportunity to achieve success at hockey’s highest levels.
Created in 2018, The Goalie Training Institute was built with the purpose of creating an elite training program to develop goaltenders the right way. Our systematic approach and training methods are tailored to the individual and each goaltender is given an exclusive blueprint for the season specific to their needs.
Our camps run through the NHL off season. We pride ourselves on providing a premium experience with NHL goaltending coaches, professional trainers/coaches & pro goalies with a low student to instructor ratio (published for each camp) to ensure each student gets the attention they need to develop their goaltending talents.
Along with on ice activities we provide classroom style learning with access to video content previously only available to pro coaches that’s used to breakdown plays for our students to learn save selection, technique & situational awareness used by pro goalies.
