In that feature interview, presented by Sense Arena, Grosenick shares examples of the things he learned from Jonathan Quick, Cal Petersen and Bill Ranford with the Kings — toe-up glove save, anyone? — and shares some of the fascinating collaborative back-and-forth that go into adding new technical elements after nine years as a pro. He shares some great lessons about always being open to adding new tools to your goaltending toolbox, but the importance of not abandoning your foundation in that process, and we have a long talk about the continued pace for traditional VH in today’s game, and how he’s noticed some big NHL names using it more often this season.
