Stanley Cup champion Laurent Brossoit makes his Pro Reads debut with a skate-or-slide decision video breakdown from last season with the Golden Knights.
Connor Hellebuyckβs first two entries into Pro Reads have featured 2-on-1 rush chances (and there is third coming soon with a similar theme), in part because the Vezina Trophy winner is statistically the best in the NHL at managing these types of attacks, and by a large margin. With that in mind, we also wanted to share a drill with the Winnipeg Jets star that isolated that type of attack, and Hellebuyck was kind enough to talk about some of his keys to it.
When we introduced James Wendland to our InGoal Premium membership a few weeks ago with βFive damn things to improve hip health (and widen your butterfly),β the feedback was overwhelmingly positive. Much like his clients James Reimer and Kristen Campbell, goalies who adopted the simple warm-up routine shared stories of almost immediate improvements.
Now Wendland is back with another βFive Damn Things,β but this time with a specific focus on the foot and ankle - another simple daily practice that will help you become a better goaltender.
You may have seen drills with colored pucks before, but do you understand the science behind them, and how that research can help you get better at tracking pucks? Our latest from Goalie IQ explains it all (and offers up a few more drill variations).
