Hutton, who was signed away from the Chicago Blackhawks as a free agent to back up Pekka Rinne this season, has lesser known Marvel Comic character Sabertooth wrapped around his own face in his new Nashville mask for the 2013-14 season.
And Sabertooth is also wearing some headgear of his own: a Saber Tooth Tiger Skull, according to the painter, Jesse Acciacca of Jesse’s Custom Design Airbrush Studio.

“This is a full head design using the Marvel comic character Sabertooth’s face wearing Saber Tooth Tiger Skull Mask,” Acciacca told InGoal of the new Pro-Masque made lid. “The back plate is a fish design he’s had since his college masks, playing a Canada flag guitar with a cowboy hat – Nashville Style.”

You can check out more of Acciacca’s work, including some great masks for Dwayne Roloson that were also featured here at InGoal, on his company website and Facebook Page.

With that sharp tooth it might take a bite of the STANLEY CUP. Beware fans it could be a Preds. year. Barry Trotz and his team deserve it.
