First Rookie with 10 Shutouts since Tony Esposito

Congratulations to Columbus goalie Steve Mason who made 33 saves to beat the Flames for his league-leading 10th shutout. The last goaltender to post 10 shutots as a rookie was Tony Esposito in 1970, almost 40 years ago when he recorded 15. Mason has only 8 games left so a challenge to the record seems unlikely in this remarkable season.
