Episode 215 of the InGoal Radio Podcast, presented by The Hockey Shop Source for Sports, features Brendan Burke and a fascinating conversation about goalie development.

In the feature interview, presented by Sense Arena, Burke shares his experiences growing up and learning from his dad, former long-time NHL goalie and current Vegas Golden Knights goaltending coach Sean Burke, and the principles of the inside-out, play deeper philosophy they preach after the elder Burke learned it from New York Rangers legend Benoit Allaire. It’s a great chat about the give and take of goaltending, from depth management to save selections and patience with Burke, who played junior in the WHL and OHL before finishing his playing career at the University of Alberta, playing at a Canadian University level he said can compete with and beat the top NCAA teams. Burke is currently a goalie coach with the Portland Winterhawks of the WHL, where he played with Adin Hill, and for the burgeoning Jr Coyotes program in Arizona.

All that, plus a trip to The Hockey Shop Source for Sports for out first look at the new Bauer Hyp2rLite line, with an eye-popping weight and several other great new features.
