Wolf also gets into the ongoing evolution of his game this season under new Flames goalie development coach Mackenzie Skapski, which helped him actually improve his statistics from a rookie season that ended as the AHL goalie of the year. It may surprise some to hear the 6-foot goalie talk about how playing deeper helped him in a season that ended tying an all-time AHL record with 42 wins, a.932 save percentage and seven shutouts, leading to plenty of talk he'll not only win a second straight goalie of the year award, but might also be named AHL MVP.
